Madrid, October 20, 2025 — The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) Science Park and the SLICES-Madrid project have announced the opening of a large-scale anechoic testing chamber available to researchers.
Starting in January 2025, SLICES-Madrid initiated the deployment of this facility, which is housed within UC3M’s Science Park premises. Anechoic Chamber Infrastructure is designed to support high-precision research and development in wireless communications, antenna and radio-frequency device testing, and next-generation network technologies.
Access and collaboration
Researchers and institutions interested in leveraging the chamber for experiments are invited to apply for access — the SLICES-Madrid team is facilitating usage of the infrastructure.
